Our client is an innovative healthtech company changing the way patients receive services and get improved outcomes all while providing a better patient experience. Due to continued growth they are expanding their technology team and are hiring a Senior Database Platform Engineer.

The Senior Database Platform Engineer should have at least 5-7+ years of professional hands-on industry experience working as an DB Platform Engineer including specific hands-on experience and expertise with the following: PostgreSQL, AWS, RDS, Terraform (or another infrastructure as code tool), MVCC, etc. BSCS or equivalent is desired.

The Senior DB Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting high-traffic, high-availability production database systems as well as planning for scalability, reliability and future architectural planning to ensure system viability. Additional experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, etc. for future implementation is ideal. Candidates will contribute to project plans and technological growth within the stack. This role is open to remote of hybrid on-site in work and requires on-call support for one week at a time. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be consumer and product-focused in their approach.
